SecurityPolicy governs lockout thresholds, attempt windows and retention, editable per workspace rather than hard-coded once for the whole platform.

The compliance register tracks lawful basis, retention and a review-due date per activity, and flags one as overdue rather than letting it go stale silently.

Retention rules that measure themselves

Each retention rule reports how many rows are actually sitting past its window right now, measured live from the database, not a policy nobody has checked against reality.
